MUEC is Melbourne Business School’s premier annual business plan competition initiated by MBA students.  MUEC 2010 is jointly organized by:

  • The Melbourne Business School Entrepreneurship Club (MBSEC), a student run association based in the Melbourne Business School with the mission of promoting and support entrepreneurship in the wider Melbourne community.
  • The MBS Marketing Association is a a group of  Melbourne Business School students and alumni interested in building their marketing skills and networks. The association holds a series of speaker events on topics of interest to marketers and the broader business community.
  • The Net Impact Club, a global network of business students and practitioners who aim to use business to create positive social, environmental and economic impacts.

MBSEC aims are to:

  • Foster and focus the entrepreneurial spirit of Melbourne Business School students, while developing a strong, community-based network of entrepreneurs in Melbourne.
  • Educate in entrepreneurship through public lectures, workshops, round tables and forums;
  • Provide a safe environment to practice entrepreneurship through business planning and pitching competitions;
  • Provide a network for the Melbourne Business School, University of Melbourne, investment and industry community to engage into entrepreneurial activities.
