Each year, MUEC draws distinguished Judges and Mentors from the Melbourne business community.  Our Judges and Mentors are successful businesspeople with real-life entrepreneurial experience. They are venture capitalists, angel investors, entrepreneurs or professional services providers.

All teams that successfully go through to the first round are matched with a Mentor to provide one-on-one guidance in the elaboration of their business plan. MUEC Mentors provide teams with ongoing, targeted advice from a specialist, and are often instrumental in the success of the team’s business plan.  Many teams build mutually beneficial relationships with their Mentor that continue far beyond the competition.

Team projects are placed in front of a panel of MUEC Judges several times throughout the competition.  Because our Judges are from many different backgrounds and industries, they are able to provide teams with valuable insights and feedback from many different perspectives.
